More Information on the Snorkel TB85 J

CanLift Equipment Ltd current carries the Snorkel TB-85J aerial platform boom lift which has a wide array of built in safety features. The TB85J has been factory tested for compliance with Snorkel specifications and complies with all industry standards.

All electrical power on the Snorkel TB 85J is supplied from either one or two, 550 CCA, 12 volt batteries. The batteries are behind the door on the left side of the turntable. These batteries supply 12 volt DC electrical power to operate the Snorkel aerial platform electrical components, including the emergency power system.

This model comes equipped with several standard features including engine anti restart protection, aluminum upper booms and a manual bleed down valve.  The Snorkel TB-85J is equipped with 360 degree continuous turntable rotation, foam filled tires and 4 wheel drive as well as extendable rear axles and lifting/tie down lugs.

The Snorkel TB-85J boom lift is optional with a durable sandblast protection kit which protects the cylinders from abrasion while sandblasting or from paint overspray. Rubber covers protect each cylinder rod as it extends and retracts. The covers prevent sand and paint from damaging the TB 85J cylinder seals.

CanLift Equipment Ltd also offers the Snorkel TB-85J boom lift optional with a drive motion alarm, tow kit and a hydraulic system cold weather warm up kit.

The optional drive motion alarm on the Snorkel TB 85J allows the operator to drive in both the forward and reverse directions and ensure that the alarm sounds to warn personnel in the area that the aerial platform is in motion.  One of the many safety features available with the TB-85J.
